Met+Juilliard present Gluck's 'Iphigénie en Aulide'
Praised for conducting with "live pacing, glowing sound, and wistful beauty" (New York Times), British conductor and music scholar Jane Glover leads the Met+Juilliard co-production of Iphigénie en Aulide. Premiered in 1774 and Gluck's first works for the Paris stage, the three-act opera is based on Jean Racine's mythological tragedy set in Trojan War-era Greece.
Produced by The Metropolitan Opera Lindemann Young Artist Development Program in partnership with The Juilliard School
